What You're Getting

• The package contains two ES20 bookshelf speakers in Contemporary Walnut, each equipped with a 1-inch Terylene tweeter and a 6.5-inch woofer.
• A Dynamically Balanced Acoustic Array and precision crossovers support clear sound and a lifelike soundstage for movies, music, and games.
• Polk's Power Port technology is rated to deliver 3dB louder bass than conventional ported home audio speakers while minimizing turbulence and distortion.
• High sensitivity and 4- and 8-ohm compatibility support use with most amplifiers or AV receivers, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround receivers.
• Placement options include side, rear, or elevation surround duties. Screw inserts and keyhole slots support wall placement, and speaker stands are sold separately.

Who This Is For

This pair suits listeners building a surround system or adding speakers to an existing amplifier or AV receiver setup. Owners of other Signature Elite speakers have another reason to consider it: the ES20 is timbre matched to the series and can join ES60 towers, an ES35 center channel, and a subwoofer in a 5.1 configuration. The walnut finish also gives buyers a specific alternative when matching speakers to their room's decor.

Final Verdict

The ES20's receiver compatibility and placement options make this a practical home theater purchase, with a current price below its recorded historical low. Get this deal if a walnut speaker pair fits the system you are building or expanding.
