What You're Getting

The LG S80TR delivers a 5.1.3-channel soundbar system with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support. You get rear surround speakers with wireless connectivity, eliminating the need for a special receiver.

The center up-firing speaker focuses on dialogue clarity, while WOW Orchestra technology synchronizes audio between your LG TV and soundbar. WOWCAST built-in provides wireless Dolby Atmos without visible wires or audio quality loss.

Who This Is For

Best for: LG OLED TV owners wanting seamless audio integration and anyone seeking a complete 5.1.3 surround system without complex wiring. This is ideal for medium to large rooms where traditional soundbars struggle with immersion.

Skip this if you only need basic 2.1 audio or already have a high-end AV receiver setup.

The Caveat

While the wireless rear speakers eliminate receiver needs, they still require power outlets. The WOW Orchestra feature works best with compatible LG TVs, though the soundbar functions normally with any TV via HDMI ARC.

Final Verdict

At $534.99, LG OLED owners should buy now for the seamless integration and Atmos performance. Those with non-LG TVs should still consider it for the complete wireless surround package, but may want to wait if they don't need the rear speakers immediately.
