For just $4664.89, below its 30-day average of $5170.53. The 90-day average sits at $5474.83 and the 180-day average at $5462.50, making this the lowest the SL2 has been in months.

Leica bodies hold their value, so a drop like this is worth paying attention to.

What You're Getting

The SL2 packs a 47MP full-frame sensor with built-in body image stabilization that works with any lens you mount. It shoots DCI 4K video in full-frame mode with 10-bit color, L-Log, and Cine-Mode, plus 5K in APS-C crop. The body is weather-sealed, built in Germany, and benefits from a redesigned menu system and improved ergonomics over its predecessor.

Who This Is For

This is for photographers who want Leica image quality without committing to the M-mount rangefinder system. It works for studio shooters, landscape photographers, and hybrid shooters who need stills and video in one body.

If you are invested in L-mount glass or plan to be. This is your entry point.

The Caveat

The SL2 is a heavy body at roughly 1.65 pounds with the battery. It is not a casual walk-around camera unless you have the arm strength.

Autofocus is improved over the original SL but still trails Sony and Canon in tracking speed.

Final Verdict

The SL2 delivers Leica colors and build quality at a price that undercuts its usual street value by more than $500. If you need a full-frame body with IBIS, high-resolution stills, and serious video capability. This is the price to jump on.
