Why This Matters

A reversible motor lets the same fixture move air in either direction, which can support cooling in summer and air circulation in winter. The included remote controls fan speed, lighting, and 1H, 4H, or 8H timer settings, so adjustments do not require a wall switch. The listing also notes a light memory function. These controls are useful when the fan is mounted high or in a room with limited switch access.

What You're Getting

The Nicola has three solid walnut blades in a burlywood finish and a metal body in white. Its DC motor offers six speed levels, a maximum airflow of 4,000 CFM, and a maximum speed of 180 RPM. The integrated LED light is dimmable and rated at 2,100 lumens; the spec sheet gives 3,000K, while the description lists switchable warm, natural and cool white modes. The listing cites two downrod options, 5 inches and 10 inches, and the fan is sloped ceiling compatible. It includes a one-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

Who This Is For

This fan suits buyers furnishing a medium room who want a wood-blade look with remote control of speed and lighting. Wayfair's description calls it damp-rated for covered outdoor areas such as a porch, veranda, or lanai, with no direct weather exposure, though the listing's spec sheet shows a Dry location rating; confirm the rating before any outdoor installation.

Final Verdict

At the listed sale price, the Nicola combines a wood-blade design, integrated lighting and remote control in one fixture. Check the location rating question and your ceiling height against the supplied downrods before ordering.
