For just $59.99, below its 30-day average of $65.73. Over the past 90 days this unit averaged $77.38, and across six months it sat at $82.66. The current price undercuts every recent benchmark, which matters for a Cuisinart food processor that rarely sees movement outside of Prime events.

What You're Getting

The FP-5 packs a 5-cup work bowl with an ergonomic handle and a compact base driven by a high-performance motor. A reversible disc switches between fine and medium shredding, while the wide-mouth feed tube handles larger ingredients without pre-cutting everything first. The durable universal chopping blade covers basic chopping tasks, and the whole thing stows neatly with cord storage in the base and removable parts nesting inside the bowl.

Who This Is For

Best for: anyone cooking for one or two who needs a smaller workhorse for weekly meal prep. The 5-cup capacity handles onions, cheese blocks, nuts, and herbs without taking over your counter.

If you regularly cook for four or more, the 5-cup bowl will feel tight for batch shredding or chopping larger quantities.

Final Verdict

This is a straightforward buy if you want a Cuisinart without the full-size footprint. The $59.99 price is below what it has traded for all year, so there is not much reason to wait unless you need a larger 7-cup or 11-cup model. For compact counter prep. This is the price to move on.
