What You're Getting

This 27-inch 4K gaming monitor delivers 3840 x 2160 resolution with a dual-mode feature that lets you choose between 4K at 160Hz or FHD at 320Hz. ASUS Fast IPS technology provides a 1ms response time for sharp visuals during fast-paced gaming. The monitor includes ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync technology, which eliminates ghosting and tearing when used with variable refresh rate. A built-in ROG Aura Monitor Light Bar offers three lighting modes: screen illumination for your desk, RGB lighting that syncs with other ROG products, or a combination mode. The unique asymmetrical design minimizes onscreen reflections while providing concentrated desk lighting.

Who This Is For

Best for PC gamers who want 4K clarity without sacrificing high refresh rates. This monitor works well for competitive players who might switch to FHD mode for maximum frame rates. The USB-C connectivity makes it suitable for modern laptops and devices. Skip this if you need a larger display or primarily use consoles that don't support the highest refresh rates.

The Caveat

At 27 inches, 4K resolution delivers exceptional pixel density but some users might prefer a larger screen for immersive gaming. The monitor's premium features come with ROG's gaming aesthetic that may not suit minimalist office setups.

Final Verdict

For $448.99, this 4K gaming monitor delivers features typically found in more expensive displays. The dual refresh rate modes and integrated lighting make it a versatile choice for PC gamers who want both visual fidelity and competitive performance.

Move now if you need a high-refresh 4K display with USB-C connectivity.
