Ausom has added two new dual-motor electric scooters to its lineup. The Gosoul 2 Pro and Laluz 2 Pro went on sale February 26 and share the same powertrain, but target different types of riders. The Gosoul 2 Pro is designed for mixed terrain and off-road use, while the Laluz 2 Pro is tuned for urban commuting.
Both scooters are powered by dual 1,400W motors that deliver a combined 2,800W of peak power and 28Nm of torque. Top speed reaches 36 mph, and the 864Wh battery provides up to 56 miles of range on a single charge. They also share the same 10-inch by 2.75-inch tubeless tires, mechanical disc brakes with E-ABS, and a 287-pound maximum load capacity.
Gosoul 2 Pro: Built for All-Terrain Riding
The Gosoul 2 Pro is the more rugged of the two. It uses a ShocFree swingarm suspension system that is designed to handle potholes, gravel paths, and uneven surfaces. This makes it a better fit for riders who split their time between paved roads and rougher terrain.
The trade-off is weight. At 70.5 pounds, the Gosoul 2 Pro is heavier than its sibling, though it still folds down for storage and transport. It features an extra-wide 20.5 by 7.3-inch deck for stable footing, NFC and passcode unlocking, and 360-degree lighting that includes a front headlight, rear taillight, turn signals, and ambient side lights.
The Gosoul 2 Pro is priced at $849 (regularly $999).
Laluz 2 Pro: Lighter and Tuned for the City
The Laluz 2 Pro shares the same motors, battery, and top speed as the Gosoul 2 Pro, but it is built with city commuters in mind. It uses a front suspension fork paired with a rear swingarm and adjustable spring, a setup that prioritizes smooth pavement riding over rough terrain.
At 66 pounds, the Laluz 2 Pro is about 4.5 pounds lighter than the Gosoul 2 Pro, making it easier to carry onto public transit or up a flight of stairs. It also features an ergonomic swallow-shaped handlebar designed to reduce wrist strain during longer rides. Like the Gosoul 2 Pro, it includes triple smart unlocking (NFC card, phone NFC, or password), full lighting, and the same folding mechanism.
The Laluz 2 Pro is priced at $729 (regularly $879).
