Apple has confirmed ‘the percentage battery doesn’t update issue’ of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. They have released an official document through their website with the title “If your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus battery percentage doesn‘t update”. The issue appeared when the users change the time on their device manually or change the time zones when traveling.
“If you change the time on your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus manually or change time zones when traveling, you might notice that the battery percentage doesn’t update. “
Apple gives the easy solution for you who are facing this issue by doing these steps:
- Restart your iPhone.
- Go to Settings >> General >> Date & Time and make sure that Set Automatically is turned on.
Apple confirmed, if this happens again and you didn’t change the time or time zone on your device, please contact Apple Support. Apple also said that they are still investigating this issue and try to provide the update fix. At this moment, Apple is working on iOS 9.3 preview, which may include the update for this issue.
