Opening command prompt using the shortcut Win + X

Press Win + X, or click on the start with right mouse button and select from the list the command prompt.

 

Opening command prompt using Task Manager

Open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del and click on File => Run new task=> Type cmd and then click “OK” => if you want to run as administrator – in the window, check “Create this task with administrative privileges”

 

Opening command prompt using Task Manager – the easy method

When the Task Manager is opened, press and hold the Ctrl key and without releasing it, click “File” and then click “Start a new task” => after these actions the command prompt will be opened in administrator mode.

Open Search) and type “cmd” in the box, click on the command prompt with right mouse button and select “Run as administrator”.

With the right mouse button click on empty space on the Desktop and select “New” => Shortcut. Write cmd.exe in the box, and click “Next”. Choose the name for the shortcut (you can rename it later) and click “Finish”.
