YouTube Music to Introduce Real-Time Lyrics Tracking Feature

YouTube Music is reportedly launching an automatic real-time tracking feature for lyrics as songs play. While Spotify and Apple Music have already offered the feature for some time, YouTube Music has only provided basic manual lyrics.
With this new update, lyrics will be highlighted, and text size increased automatically, with the feature working on any song that already has lyrics uploaded to YouTube Music.
According to reports, Google partnered with MusixMatch last year to develop the feature. The live lyrics tracking is also being powered by LyricFind.
Screenshots of the feature on both Android and iOS have been released, but there is no concrete timeline for its release. However, some Reddit users have already reported getting the feature on Android in-app version 5.51.50.
