Hulu’s TV Apps Get Redesigned with Left Navigation Bar

Hulu has started rolling out a redesign for its TV apps last week, which changes how you navigate through the interface. The previous version had the search, Home, TV, Movies, News, My Stuff, and Hubs buttons across the top of the screen. The new navigational buttons will now live on the left.
The previous top-bar design made it difficult for users to navigate through the massive list of content, and switching to another section meant scrolling back through everything. The redesign makes it easy to figure out by scrolling to the left, and the menu pops up.
The redesign makes the Hulu app look more like other streaming apps such as HBO Max, Netflix, YouTube, and Disney Plus, which is also owned by the same company as Hulu. This convention of design will help users to navigate through the app effortlessly without having to think about how to use it.
The new interface will be rolling out over the next few weeks and will be available on various smart TV interfaces like Android TV, LG smart TVs, Samsung smart TVs, and Vizio SmartCast TVs, as well as streaming boxes like Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast.
