A soft reset is a good idea when your phone misbehaves. But, you can restart it every once in a while. Here is why. Many apps and processes are running in the background, affecting the battery and the memory of your device. So, by restarting the phone, you will close them all. As a result, you will see the boost in memory and performance as well.
How to soft reset Honor 20
To soft reset your Honor 20, press and hold the Power button for a couple of seconds. Two options will show up, Restart and Power off. Tap Restart.
But, what to do at times if your phone doesn’t show the options mentioned above? For some reason, the phone can get stuck on a certain screen, and become unresponsive. Since Honor 20 like many other today’s phones has a non-removable battery, you can’t just pull the battery out and place it back in like on older devices. What you need to do is press and hold the Power button and keep holding it until the phone reboots. Usually, this lasts for about 30 seconds.
It is advisable to restart your phone every couple of days.
