The Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep

Helm's Deep continues the Epic Story into the western plains of Rohan, allowing players to take a direct role in the battle for Helm's Deep and advance the level cap to 95.

The Fellowship of the Ring has broken, and two of its members have been carried forcefully into the Riddermark by Saruman’s Uruks. They are taking the hobbits to Isengard, but their journey will take them across the land of the horse-lords, their bitter enemies, and they are pursued by the Three Hunters: Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli. East Rohan is ruled by a number of powerful lords whose loyalty is to King Théoden, but the whispered treasons of Saruman have already caused dissension to root in the plains of the Riddermark. Riders of Rohan expands the online world of Middle-earth where players join forces to ride into the Plains of Rohan. Riders of Rohan includes an increased level cap, the vast plains of Rohan including iconic locations such as Amon Hen and Fangorn Forest, the new Mounted Combat system and much more.

The Grey Company has departed from Enedwaith and entered Dunland proper on their continuing journey to Rohan, where they seek their chieftain Aragorn. The Rangers work to gain the friendship of the Dunlending clans and thwart Saruman's war-building efforts. The mysterious Falcon-clan offers their services to help break the muster of the combined Dunlending armies at Wulf's Cleft, but can they be trusted? Siege of Mirkwood will be available as a digital download this Fall with an increased level cap, a new region including the legendary evil fortress of Dol Goldur, major enhancements to combat and Legendary Items and the introduction of Skirmishes, a new system where players will train customizable soldiers and take them into battle as part of the War of the Ring.

The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria is the first retail expansion pack for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online. The storyline is set in Moria, an enormous underground complex in north-western Middle-earth. Apart from that, the expansion also adds the region Lórien. The game's level cap has been increased to level 60; and the expansion extends the Epic storyline by six more books, and adds two new classes, the Rune-keeper and the Warden. Other new features include environment aware AI, dynamic lighting, and a new weapon enhancement system.

The Epic Story is an ongoing series of adventures, or quests, steeped with intrigue and action. These adventures begin the moment you start playing, and feature characters like Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and Strider, Ranger of the North; during significant events in the Epic Story, Session Play lifts you from your hero's shoes and puts you in temporary control of a legendary character. But no matter the method of storytelling, you will always earn rewards for your developing hero.
