You Need 8GB Free Space To Play Final Fantasy IX On iOS Or Android

Square Enix Inc. has released their famous RPG on PlayStation console, Final Fantasy IX for iOS and Android platform. According to IGN, to be able to install this game, you must have at least 8GB free internal storage. Actually, on Play Store and App Store, this game has 1.8GB and 2GB of download file size, respectively, but after the installation process is done, the game will download the additional data, up to 4GB. Before the download process is started, your device needs up to 8GB free space.

This makes this game quite hard to be installed in the device with 8GB, like one on iPhone 4S, iPhone 5C, or Xiaomi Mi4i variant. Unfortunately, these devices do not have an SD card slot to add the additional storage. It should become a concern for the developer. However, the size of storage that is needed for this game is associated with the quality of 3D render images from the game itself. The game will render the high definition movies and character models.

Final Fantasy IX mobile version comes with the new features: Auto Save, and High Speed And No Encounter modes. The price of the game is $17 and the Square Enx Inc gives 20% discount from February 10 to February 21.
