Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be announced on November 24.
Previously, we have shared the leaked image of Xiaomi Redmi Note from a TENAA document. According to the rumors, this device will be named “Redmi Note 2 Pro”, showed up in an invitation and an official teaser image from Xiaomi. From the invitation, it’s seen that the real name isn’t Redmi Note 2 Pro, but Redmi Note 3. The date that is shown on the invitation is November 24, and it seems to be the announcement date of Redmi Note 3.
There are 3 color options of Redmi Note 3: gold, silver, and space gray. It has a unibody aluminum case design with plastic antenna on the top of the rear case in the same color. We can find the fingerprint sensor on its rear case. All of this information is gotten from the teaser image of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. This is the first time Xiaomi announces the successor of the device series in the same year. Redmi Note 2 was announced in August 2015, and 3 months after they will announce the new Redmi Note 3. At this point, the Redmi Note 3 is rumored to launch with a slightly higher price 1,099 Yuan ($172) price tag, while Redmi Note 2 has a retail price of 999 Yuan ($158).
