A recent rumor indicated that the Chinese company Xiaomi is working on its Mi Note 10 smartphone that is expected to have a 108MP camera. There are chances of the manufacturer offering another device, the Mi Note 10 Pro in the Mi Note 10 Series, according to Thailand’s NBTC certification. The Mi Note 10 Pro is expected to be launched along with the Mi Note 10.
Features and Specifications of the Mi Note 10 Series
A Twitter user recently tweeted the specifications of the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro. Interestingly, some of these details have also been made available on the Geekbench platform.
According to the tweet, both smartphones are likely to have many common features apart from their distinguishing specifications. Some aspects that will be the same in both the devices include NFC, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm audio jack. They will also come with 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, triple rear-camera setup comprising 108MP, 12MP and 5MP shooters, 32MP front snappers and 4,000mAh batteries with fast charging support.
What makes the two handsets different is that the Mi Note 10 will use a 6.4-inch FHD AMOLED display whereas the Mi Note 10 Pro will encompass a bigger 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. Moreover, the rear camera of the former device will support a 2x optical zoom. The latter, on the other hand, will offer a 5x optical zoom with its shooter. The standard Note 10 will feature a UFS 2.1 as against a UFS 3.0 in the Pro model. The battery of the Note 10 will feature 30W capacity. However, the charging capacity of the Note 10 Pro’s battery will be 4W capacity.
Additional Details of the Mi Note 10 on Geekbench
The recent Geekbench listing offers some additional details about the Mi Note 10. According to this report, Note 10 will house an octa-core Qualcomm processor with 1.8 GHz base frequency. The smartphone will operate on Android 9 Pie OS. The handset scores 544 in single-core tests and 1713 in multi-core tests.
Although the tweet and the Geekbench do not specify what Qualcomm processor will be used, there is a talk that the Mi Note 10 will use a Snapdragon 730G processor. This will be replaced by the Snapdragon 855 in the Mi Note 10 Pro.
Is Mi Note 10 a Rebranding of Mi CC9 Pro?
There are speculations that the Mi Note 10 will be an international variant of the Mi CC9 Pro. The Geekbench listings for both devices mention the codename Tucana. Other specifications such as the processor and its clocking frequency, RAM and operating system are also the same in both the reports.
These details lead us to believe that the smartphone will be released under the name Mi CC9 Pro in China and in the rest of the world on 5 November as Mi Note 10 in Poland and Spain on 14 November. However, it is worth noting that details like the display are different for the two smartphones.
As we do not have any official comment from Xiaomi, we can only accept the above information with a pinch of salt.
