The CC series of smartphones was announced by Xiaomi back in July of 2019. The phones launched under this series were the CC9, the CC9e, as well as a CC9 Meitu Edition. The last model was released under a partnership with Xiaomi and the beauty app company Meitu.
These were initially released in Chinese markets only but were brought to international markets later under new model names. The Mi CC9e was launched in global markets as Mi A3 while the Mi CC9 was released as Mi 9 Lite. There are rumors coming from China, which suggest that there is another member in the CC series that is yet to be released -the Mi CC9 Pro.
Upcoming Mi CC9 Pro Specifications Leaked
The sources suggest that the forthcoming MI CC9 Pro is going to feature a Snapdragon 730G processor, which is manufactured using an 8nm process and comes with a Qualcomm Adreno 618 GPU.
The new smartphone of the CC9 series is also rumored to equip a 108-megapixel camera. It may be the same Samsung 108 MP ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor that we saw in the Mi Mix Alpha. Nevertheless, it is quite an upgrade in camera specs when compared to the CC9e and the CC9 which had 48 MP sensors.
There is no more information available regarding the specifications of the rumored device as of now.
Mi CC9 Pro Rumored Design
The design of the Mi CC9 Pro may be similar to the CC9 and the CC9e as it is a pro variant of the same series. The phone is rumored to have a curved display. If it maintains the design aspects of its predecessors, it may have a waterdrop notch and an in-display fingerprint reader.
The Mi CC9 Pro may come with MIUI 11 out of the box which is based on the Android 9 Pie. We will be getting to know more about the Mi CC9 Pro in the coming days as it is expected to launch on 24th October.
Price Cuts on the Mi CC9
Before the release of the Mi CC9 Pro, Xiaomi has already slashed the prices of the Mi CC9 devices. You can get the Mi CC9 Pro with a 100 Yuan discount if you buy it between 1st to 7th October. This means that you can get the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage at just around $239. The top variant with the same RAM but an increased internal storage of 128GB is now available at about $265 in Chinese markets. This offer is only applicable on orders through the Xiaomi website in China.
