The Spain event by Xiaomi was expected to be the venue for the launch of the Mi Note 10, the Mi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 8T smartphones. That’s exactly what happened. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer rolled out three devices in a single event.
Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro Specifications
The Mi Note 10 is a rebranded version of the Mi CC9 Pro, which was released for select markets in Asia. The device packs the 108MP ISOCELL camera manufactured by Samsung. The same camera will be seen on other Xiaomi devices like the Mi Mix Alpha.
Along with the 108MP primary snapper, the device features four other cameras which make it one of the first penta-camera smartphones from Xiaomi. The other lenses include a 20MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP 2x zoom and portrait lens, a 5MPtelephotolens, and a 2MP macro lens. As far as the performance of the cameras on the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro goes, the devices score a DxOMark score of 121 for still photography, which is among the highest in the industry.
The Mi Note 10 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory whereas the Mi Note 10 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.1 internal memory.
The Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro feature 6.47-inch Arc AMOLED Full HD+ screens. The front camera is enclosed in a waterdrop style notch and the screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display also houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The processor on the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro smartphones is Snapdragon 730G, which is an octa-core SoC with the Adreno 618 graphics processor.
Redmi Note 8T Specifications
The Redmi Note 8T is a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 8 which was released in India but also has NFC connectivity.
The Redmi Note 8T features a Full HD+ display, which is 6.39-inch in size with a screen resolution of 2,340 × 1,080 pixels. Similar to the Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro, the Redmi Note 8T features a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating on the display for scratch and drop protection. The device features a 2.5D curved glass display.
The device is fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with an Adreno 610 GPU and comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, which can be expanded using a microSD card. There is no in-display fingerprint option. However, there is a physical fingerprint reader on the back. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery which can be charged using 18W fast chargers.
The Redmi Note 8T doesn’t come with MIUI 11 out of the box, rather it runs the Android 9.0 powered MIUI 10. The device features a quad camera setup with a primary camera of 48MP resolution and the other three cameras are an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth-sensing snapper as well as a 2MP macro shooter which is the same one as the Mi Note 10 and the Note 10 Pro.
