Windows 10 S Now Ready for Testing

Microsoft’s Windows is one of the most popular and widely-used operating systems in the world. Although the OS tried to make an appearance in the mobile world, Windows Phones and other unfortunate devices that run Windows Mobile aren’t the best or most appreciated. But as far as desktop operating systems go, Windows has been a staple of the industry for many years now. Everyone here most likely remembers installing some ancient version of it on their first computer. That is, unless you’re an Apple person. There’s nothing wrong with using Macs, we’re just saying they operate differently.

Well, the current version of Windows, namely Windows 10, has been doing great lately. In fact, it will soon run on more devices than Windows 7, which is most likely the most popular one up to date (mainly because Windows 8 was bad). And Windows 10 also has quite a few variants as well, with the most recent announcement being on the Windows 10 S. Windows 10 S is currently the young one in Microsoft’s OS family, and it has been announced three months ago, give or take.

Unfortunately, people were less than thrilled with it. From what it seemed at first glance, Windows 10 S isn’t that great. But now the operating system is finally available for testing, so if you’re a developer or general IT pro you can download it right now and try it on for size, as well as work to improve it. But be warned, people were right to not be too excited about it, because it’s barely functioning right now, and it doesn’t hold much promise for the future either.

So, will you be trying out Windows 10 S? Let us know in the comment section below, we’d love to hear how that turned out.
