Windows 10 is about to receive its next major update, the Fall Creators Update. Now John Cable, Director of Program Management, Windows Servicing and Delivery of Microsoft wrote a new blog post about the quality and the performance provided by Windows 10. The post came with details about all the improvements brought by the previous update.
New blog post brags about the quality of the Creators Update
“The Windows 10 Creators Update is the best version of Windows 10 ever. What makes Windows 10 Creators Update the best version of Windows 10 ever? Quality. Our dedicated focus on customer obsession – listening and responding to user and partner feedback – are key to the quality improvements in Windows 10.” said John Cable.
- Faster computer
Compared to the previous version, the new one has 13 % faster booting and 18% faster log-ins. Also, the Creators Update has 30% faster Windows Hello Facial recognition and 53% faster browsing with Microsoft Edge. The post also mentioned the faster Start Menu, and faster Windows Search.

The post also mentioned that the Creators Update has a 39 percent reduction in “operating system and driver stability issues between the Anniversary Update and Creators Update” and an 18 percent reduction in “users hitting certain system stability issues versus earlier versions of Windows 10.”
- Enhanced battery performance
The latest Windows version allows users to easily change between best performance and battery saving modes, so they can control whether they want their battery to last more or they want an increased performance.
The recent blog might seem a bit strange, but we can take it as a final Microsoft recap before releasing the new update. Hopefully the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will be even better and it will come with plenty of improvements for all users.
