Each time Windows 10 gets updated, the operating system gets better and better. From the Anniversary Update on August 2, 2016 to the Creators Update in April 2017, Windows 10 always provides the best for its loyal fans.
That’s why the upcoming Fall Creators Update has been anticipated to bring much better features and security fixes. Here are some details about the Fall Creators Update.
Expected Release Date
The expected release date will be in September 2017, although Microsoft has not confirmed this update yet. However, it has given some hints by featuring this product at a recent developer event this year.
Story Remix – this is similar to the Memories on the iPhone, which automatically creates edited videos from videos and photos. Moreover, it would allow users to use Windows Ink for touchscreen devices. This enables you to write or draw on the video, as well as anchor the scribbles to an object or person so that it would move with it automatically.
Timeline – an improved Task View would allow you to see the current apps and windows you have opened. Likewise, you would be able to scroll down to see the things you were working on previously, be it weeks or months ago. Additionally, you can also work on this across your Windows 10 devices due to the Microsoft Graph, which stores all the information.
Pick Up Where You Left Off – the upcoming Fall Creators Update would allow you to use Cortana so that you can carry on the tasks on another device. In fact, this would also allow you to extend to other devices such as iPhones or Android.
OneDrive Files On-Demand – this would enable you to see which files are located in your OneDrive. This is possible even when you have not stored the files on the Windows 10 devices locally.
