Will you get Android Pie on your Smartphone?

It is generally known that Android users are excited to get their hands on the new Android 9 along with its announcement. And as long as phone manufacturers do not care about what Android you will have, below you can check which handsets will get this update.

List of smartphone receiving the update

  1. Google

Obviously, Google’s own production of devices will not come with the lack of this update and will also be the first to get Android’s latest version. The company has already started rolling out Android Pie Over-the-air (OTA) updates to its smartphones.

Google’s devices which will receive such updates are Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

However, Android Pie might not be featured in Nexus devices such as Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P because of Google’s last update support.

Do not get excited yet

Although this is quite a list of devices which will receive this update, some others which are eligible are: Huawei, Sony, Samsung, LG and there is a chance to get it.
