There are a few days until Samsung will announce the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 at the global launch event held in New York. There is quite a high level of anticipation and excitement coming from phone and technology enthusiasts, as the eight-generation Samsung phone-tablet is finally arriving after months and months of leaks and misinterpreted details about the device.
Even if this device is being released soon, people still question what will Google do next and compare it to the latest phone in the market, the Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus respectively.

It is rumored that the device’s dimensions will be 162.5 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm, the display will be 6.3-inch Quad HD + Super AMOLED, 2960 x 1440 Infinity Display. The processor is said to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core CPU or Samsung Exynos 8995 octa-core CPU. The device will be equipped with 6GB memory of RAM and the software Android Nougat. The storage will reach impressive heights ranging from 64GB to 256 GB.
The primary camera will have a dual-12 MP, OIS, Dual-Pixel Phase Detection Autofocus, 2x optical zoom, face and smile recognition, auto HDR, panorama, touch focus and 2160p video at 30fps or 1080p videos at 60 fps. The secondary camera is 8MP too, with autofocus and the battery’s capacity is significantly higher, 3,300 mAh.
On the outside, the upcoming device does not differ very much from its previous models, but it is definitely bigger and with a more square off shape. It also will keep the water and dust away, the same as Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.
