How to turn on Fitbit Versa

When the watch won’t turn on, it doesn’t necessarily mean it some sort of a hardware issue. Before jumping to conclusions, try the following suggestions.

Restart your watch

Here is what you need to do:

Press and hold the back button and bottom buttons, and keep holding them until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen which usually takes about 10 seconds. When the logo shows up, release the buttons.

Charge your watch

If the battery lost power and drained completely, the watch won’t be able to turn on. Let it charge for a while and then try again.

Also, make sure the charger is working, that the cables are not broken or damaged. You may also try another outlet.

Factory Reset Fitbit Versa

Still nothing? You may factory reset your Fitbit Versa. Here is how to do that:

On your watch, hold all three buttons at the same time, and hold them for about 15 seconds. When you see a Fitbit logo on the screen, release the back button but keep holding the left and top right buttons. You should keep holding the buttons until you feel a vibration – that’s the signal the reset was initiated. If you managed to do this properly, you will be prompted to set up your Fitbit.

If nothing seems to be working, contact Fitbit support.
