After an image tweet by the tech giant Google on how the Pixel 4 would look, popular American blogger and phone leaker Evan Blass recently tweeted an image showing Verizon roadmap for 2019. The roadmap gives an indication about the launch dates of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 4 and 2019 iPhones.

If the Verizon roadmap is anything to go by, the Galaxy Note 10 is set to make its entry in August 2019 while the Pixel 4 will make its presence felt a few months later in October. Both handsets are expected to arrive only during the latter half of the months. Although the earlier Google report indicated the possibility of an earlier Pixel 4 launch, looks like it is not likely to happen. All previous launches of the Google Pixel devices have taken place in October. However, with still months to go before the launch, there is a possibility of changes in the actual launch timings.

The leaked roadmap image also reveals the launch date for Apple’s iPhones. However, this doesn’t come as a surprise as everyone knows that Apple always launches new iPhones within the first half of September every year.

What can be expected from the Galaxy Note 10 and Pixel 4?

At this point of time, very little information is available about both phones. However, going by the leaked phone image and past trends, we can expect some surprises from Google and Samsung.

The Pixel 4 will be available in black with no fingerprint sensor on its back. This could mean that the manufacturer is going to place the sensor below the display in front by embedding it on the screen as an in-display scanner. There are also chances of the fingerprint sensor being done away with and replaced by the face unlock method. The back panel also indicates that the phone will house two rear cameras. Like its predecessor, the upcoming Pixel handset might also sport a twin camera system on its front.

As for the Galaxy Note 10, the flagship is not likely to sport a Bixby button or a headphone jack. The standard notch on the top will probably be replaced by an Infinity-0 punch. Based on a screen protector image leak, the handset is expected to have a large screen-to-body ratio with very thin bezels. At this point in time, there is absolutely no clue whether the manufacturer plans to position the sensors on the side or at the center of the display.
