How to use “Tasks” in Gmail
To run the task scheduler, go to your email account, and click on “Gmail” icon. From a drop-down list, it is necessary to select “Tasks”.
In the lower-right corner, a small window will open. Press the button with the arrow to open the task list in a new window, so it is more convenient to work with it.
There will be displayed all the planned tasks. Beyond the task is the deadline and the finished task is checked and crossed out.
To schedule a new task, press the “+” at the bottom right and enter the name.
Click the arrow to the right of the task in order to specify the details and assign the completion date.
To set the task properly, you must:
Enter the main task.
Indicate below the subtask.
Press the Tab key or use the “Actions” menu to move and clear the selected task.
When the task is finished, select the check box to the left of the completed tasks.
Tasks list can be printed and sorted by date. You can view only completed tasks, or remove them. All these operations are available in “Actions” menu.
In the lower-right corner, you can rename, delete and create new lists.
Gmail task list is not overloaded with unnecessary options. It is so simple and easy to use.
