5 ways to fix iPhone 6 Wi-Fi not working after iOS 8.4 update

Solution No.1: Toggle Wi-Fi and Airplane Mode

Let’s start with some simple solutions. Go to Setting, and turn Wi-Fi off, and then back on. After you do that, go to Settings, turn the Airplane mode, wait for a couple of seconds, and turn it back off.

    Solution No.2: Forget the network

When Wi-Fi isn’t working on iPhone 6, or any other iOS device, forgetting a network is one of troubleshooting steps. Follow these steps:

    • Open the Settings app on your device
    • Tap on Wi-Fi
    • Find the network you want to forget
    • Click on the info button (i)
    • Choose Forget this Network
    • Confirm the action by tapping on Forget.
Once you do this, choose the network again, type the password, and connect. Hopefully, everything will work normally.

    Solution No.3: Disable Bluetooth

With some of the previous iOS versions, many users had the problem with Wi-Fi, which was either slow, or it didn’t work at all, and for many, disabling Bluetooth fixed the problem. Try this out. To turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone 6, follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap on General
    • Tap on Bluetooth
    • Turn the switch to Off.
Solution No.4: Unplug the modem and the router, and plug them back in

When Wi-Fi isn’t working after iOS update, you should unplug the modem and the router, wait for a couple of seconds, and then plug them back in. When it comes to Wi-Fi issues, this troubleshooting step is pretty useful, which is why you should give it a try.

    Solution No.5: Reset network settings

Maybe this will fix the problem:

    • Navigate to Settings
    • Tap on General
    • Select Reset
    • Select Reset Network Settings
    • Confirm the action.
For those who already installed iOS 8.4, and who have the Wi-Fi issues, maybe one of 5 ways to fix iPhone 6 Wi-Fi not working after iOS 8.4 update, will solve the problem.
