How to fix Viber issues on Android

    Update Viber

When having issues with any of your apps, one of the first things you need to do is to check if an update is available. To do that, open the Play Store application on your Android, tap on three horizontal lines to open the menu. Tap on "My apps & games" and in the "Installed" section find Viber. See if there is an update and if there is tap Install.

    Restart your smartphone

The easiest way to free up the memory and get things in motion is by restarting your device. As you probably know, the apps along with their processes will run in the background if you don't close them properly, and all that has a huge impact on the memory. Your device will slow down, and the apps may start to misbehave. So, press and hold the Power button and when the power menu appears, tap Restart.

    Clear cache and data

When it comes to apps issues, clearing the cache and data is among the most effective solutions. To clear the cache, go to Settings, tap App Manager (Application, Application Manager, etc. depending on the device), find Viber, tap on it and then tap on Clear cache. If this doesn't solve the problem, you can clear the data as well, but keep in mind that the data app stored will be deleted. Again, go to Settings > App manager > Viber and tap on Clear data.

Delete the app and install it again

If nothing else works, it's time for a fresh install.First remove Viber. To do that, navigate to Settings > App Manager, find Viber, tap on it and tap Uninstall. After that, open the Play Store, type Viber in the search box, and install it again.
