    Hi,

I restored my phone and did not back up EFS file so now my phone is unable to find Tmobile network. I have that generic IMEI #.

HDI get my IMEI # back on the phone (it's not blacklisted and it's an international phone i9100 so should work on ATT and Tmobile network.

ATT works fine but TMOBILE says "NO NETWORK AVAIL"

I think this is my solution: http://www.chevypowell.com/fix-samsung-galaxy-unknown-baseband-version/

The catch here is: I am unable to use my USB to connect to PC
Q:How do I fix this issue as it's unable to recognize KIES/ODIN.
Q:Is there a way to fix it or does this sound like hardware replacement?

Please advise if there is a way to root and perform w/o using USB connection to PC for ROOT and IMEI fix?

    tHANKS!

    While updates can be done

While updates can be done wireless, To fix the IMEI problem your computer need to recognize your phone.

As candy said, please try and replace your usb cable

    However

another way to fix this issue is to Install the Kies drivers on your PC

Please go here to install drivers
