    >To exit apps, press the Back key so that the apps do not leave in operation in the background.

    > Hold the power button and volume down buttons for 10-15 seconds to reset the Nokia Lumia 1020.

    > Keep your phone’s operating system up to date and to check that go to settings, then Phone Update, and from there check for Updates option.

    > Ensure that all the apps in your phone are up to date because any rogue app may cause the battery drainage problem on Nokia Lumia 1020. So note any connection between specific apps and problems, and if you find any correlation, then uninstall the app. you can also go to the Settings in your phone, then Application and swipe left to Background tasks. Put out of action the problematic app so that it cannot run in the background.

    > Another thing you can do is factory reset, but it will remove everything from your Nokia Lumia 1020. So before doing a factory reset you can back up the important contacts or other things. Then open Settings on your phone, go to About after that go to Reset Your Phone. Then see if it helps from the battery drain. Another thing you should observe that whenever you are downloading any new app is there any changes to the behavior of your phone.
