Download google play to your computer and to your android phone. Go through the setup on both devices. And you are good to go!

STEP 1 download music on ur pc/mac
STEP 2 connect your S3 to ur pc/mac
STEP 3 make sure your s3 says "connected as a media device"
STEP 4 copy the music u want to the music folder in you s3
STEP 5 check your s3, your music should be there

Download mp3 music download from the android market. It's free. Chances are they won't have an iTunes app because Android and Apple r sorta kinda 'enemies' in business. Search songs and download them on the mp3 music download app. When it's done downloading, go to the 'music' app that's already on the phone. The song should be there.

You can add music directly- you don't need an app like Itunes! Connect the phone and once it's synced, you can literally drag the music from your computer to the music folder on the device. Just make sure that the music is in mp3 quality- this is something that I've had problems with before. A lot of the music I had was apparently in "wave" quality which wouldn't play on my device. If you follow those instructions you should be good to go. If not, there are music apps such as spotify that you can play music off of.
