When i am talking on the phone the light goes off as its supposed to,
but while talking even if i move my phone slightly the light goes on again
My problem is that in this state, the buttons on my screen are pressed by my ear
and sometimes the call gets disconnected and some times starts pressing numbers on the keypad continuously making a long sound of a number being pressed,

Is there a solution for this problem

Hmm,

It seems to be a problem within the software, an update should come for this
Keep updating your firmware

Meanwhile: Here's an app through which you can monitor your proximity sensing:

Hey there,I saw your thread

Hey there,I saw your thread and its not a defect its a function,so its not the software that's bad its the hardware, you have a buggy proximity sensor, take off the back cover then the upper frame plate, then on the top camera corner it'll be the second connection from the side and disconnect it,now restart the phone and try it it should work perfectly after this, you can now reconnect it and be set without the annoying problem

I had this same issue. Verizon informed me that it was a "known" issue, and they replaced the phone.
