    Solution No.1: Battery Usage

    The best place to start is to see if one of the apps is causing this issue. To do that, go to Settings > General > Usage > Battery Usage. Maybe an app, which is running in the background drains a lot of power, that’s why your iPhone is getting hot.

    Solution No.2: Restart your iPhone

    If you just noticed your device is getting hot, restart it. Press and hold the sleep/wake button, and drag the slider to turn your phone off. When it’s off, press and hold the sleep/wake button and turn it back on.
