The iPhone 6s came with so many awesome things, such as live photos, 4K videos, custom-designed 64-bit A9 chip, outstanding design and more. But, there are some issues that may occur including GPS problems. A number of users complained that GPS isn’t working as it should and that it keeps dropping the connection. There are several things you can try before you contact Apple, so see a few workarounds below. Let’s see how to fix iPhone 6S GPS issues.

How to fix iPhone 6S GPS issues

    Solution No.1: Turn off LTE

For many people, turning off LTE solved the GPS problems. Follow these steps:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Cellular
    • Select Voice & Data
    • Choose 3G
    Solution No.2: Restart your phone

Press and hold the sleep/wake button until you see the slider on the screen. Drag it to turn your device off. When your iPhone 6s is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button to turn it back on.

Solution No.3: Turn off Location Services and turn it back on

To do this, go to Settings, tap Privacy > Location Services and turn it off. Restart your device, and once your phone is on again go back to Settings > Privacy > Location Services and turn it back on.

    Solution No.4: Reset Network Settings

    This may work:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap General
    • Tap Reset > Reset Network Settings
    Solution No.5: Reset All Settings

If the previous solutions didn’t fix the iPhone 6s GPS issues, you may try to reset all settings. This will not delete your files. Here is what you need to do:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap General
    • Tap Reset
    • Select “Reset All Settings”
For many the solutions listed above worked, but if that's not the case contact Apple or your carrier.
