How to fix unresponsive buttons while installing an APK?

    Hey Technobezz!

I am having an issue again. This time is with my Nexus 9..

Long story short: I am trying to install an APK and I get taken to the permissions screen with "cancel" and "next".

    "Next" button does nothing.

Scroll to the bottom of the permissions list and the "next" changes to an "install" but that button does nothing either. Hitting "cancel" or clicking anywhere outside the permissions box will just close the installer.

    Any help please?

    Are you running an app

Are you running an app with has a overlay like lux? Cause this usually happens when you do that.

    Guys let me tell you

Guys let me tell you something. I had exactly the same problem and finally gave up lux for brightness control in N9,and this is how I fixed it.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Cavrone. That was really helpful.

So what i did was to force stop lux, installed the app, and restarted it. Seemed to work.
