How to fix not recieving email on blackberry q10

Today I have updated my Q10 to the lastest version.As soon as I turned on my wifi no email was sending or receiving.When I turned off the wifi it began working because the Network mode is enabled by my carrier .What is causing the email app not to work while wifi is turned on?

You must turn on data

You must turn on data plan.
turn off the Mobile Network option and Leave the DATA PLAN ON for email to start working on WIFI connection on the Q10
