How to fix Nexus 9 heating issue?

Hey guys, I am a little concern about my Nexus 9. I know it uses the same GPU chipset as the nVidia shield. And the shiled is known for heating like crazy and forcing you to stop using the device.

Anyone else noticed the heating issue during gaming sessions over 2h? Any advice how to prevent it from over heating?

The overheating problems mainly occur when playing graphic intensive games. The GPU (not the CPU) is the reason why it gets so warm.

Overheating won't happen under normal usage.

This being said, taking a break every 1 hour or so, is not only recommended for the tablet, but for your own health as well.

This heating issue occurs on all smartphones and tablets.
