    <strong>How to downgrade the firmware/kernel</strong>

    Hello

I want to root my Z3 Compact but I need to downgrade the firmware in order to be able to do it.

Can someone provide some links to the files that I need?

    Thank you in advance

    You will need to download

You will need to download "XperiFirm", run it and select your device.

Then choose an older version and download it

Then use the latest Flashtool and flash the .ftf to your device!

You should download the oldest available firmware in order for the root process to work properly ->(D5803_23.0.A.2.93_Generic_GLOBAL.ftf)

    XperiFirm can be found here: <a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142" title="http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142" target="_blank">http://forum.xda-developers.com/cro...ifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-t2834142</a>
