How To Downgrade Nexus From 4.4 Back To 4.3?

    Follow these steps to Downgrade Nexus from 4.4 back to 4.3. Your nexus needs to be in fastboot , with your bootloader unlock.Fastboot is also called download mode for Samsung galaxy, this mode is used to install custom OTA firmwares and updates on your nexus 5/6/7 etc.





    To Downgrade Nexus from 4.4 back to 4.3 You need the Rom File

    >Download Your nexus Rom File - Choose the Factory Image for your Nexus, Please bare in mind to choose 4.3 version if you want To Downgrade Nexus from 4.4 back to 4.3



    >Download Android SDK> Unzip and install.

    >download Google USB driver

    > Once you have downloaded everything, you need to extract the your Nexus Rom File

    >Extract Your Nexus Rom File to "sdk>platform-tools' directory

    >To Downgrade Nexus from 4.4 back to 4.3 you need to Turn on USB Debugging mode on Your nexus >Go to settings Developers Option> Check USB debugging mode

    >Connect your Nexus to your computer

    > Turn Off your Nexus

    >To boot Nexus in fastboot. - (holding power button+ vol UP + vol DOWN)

    > Now you need to read here to unlock nexus boot loader

    > When you have unlocked Bootloader, the final step To Downgrade Nexus from 4.4 back to 4.3 is to run the "Flush-all.bat" File in the same directory

    > Wait for about 5 minutes before you close the CMD



    This method also applies to:

    downgrade nexus 5 to 4.3

    downgrade nexus 4 from 4.4 to 4.3

    downgrade nexus 10 to 4.3

    downgrade nexus 7 from 4.4 to 4.3
