Most research firms peg sales for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at 45 million in 2015. That's going to be a lofty goal for the company, and it's seen as the golden number because the record for Samsung rests with the Galaxy S4, which sold that many units. One major problem is that the device shipped 10 million units in its first few weeks of release, but only six million of those units were purchased by consumers. Samsung could still make it, but the company has been overstating its numbers by going with units shipped (to retailers and consumers combined) rather than units actually purchased by consumers. We'll see.
