According to rumors, Blackberry will release a device codenamed Venice for AT&T sometime this year. That wouldn't be huge news, except for that fact that it's expected to run Android OS. That's a nice change of pace, and bringing BlackBerry's enterprise services to Android would help the phone stand out. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but renders and rumors point toward a pretty nice device that shares some design cues with Samsung's latest Galaxy S devices (per a rumored partnership between the two). I don't know how likely said partnership is, but BlackBerry is reportedly looking to farm out the device manufacturing process to other manufacturers to save money. Who knows? But Venice seems like a likely release this year.
