    1 Tweak the user settings
Reducing the brightness level of the screen is the oldest trick in the book. And it never fails to work. Another thing that you need to take care of is the wallpaper setting. The animated wallpaper feature also drains the battery more than you would expect it to. Saving a little battery drainage from these two features makes a difference in the long run.

    1. From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
    2. Tap Settings.
    3. Scroll to and tap SD & phone storage.
    4. Scroll to and tap Unmount SD card.
    5. Tap OK.
    6. Turn your phone off.
    7. Remove the battery.
    8. Remove the SD card.
    9. Reinsert the battery.
    10. Turn your phone back on.
    2 Switch off mobile data
By default, the mobile data option is switched to “always on”. That alone is a sizable drain on the life of the HTC EVO 4G battery. You can switch that off by heading over to the Settings and from there to Wireless & Networks. Under Mobile Networks, the option for switching it off is available.

    Method 2b

    Tap Settings

    >Tap Display.

    >Tap Brightness.

    >Check Automatically brightness

    > Then

    >Tap Screen timeout.

    >Tap 15 Minutes

    3 Stop auto-sync
The automated syncing of different accounts such as Gmail, Outlook and Dropbox is a huge reason behind why the battery drains out really fast. There are applications which sync every 30 seconds. Simply head over to the Settings and from there to Accounts & Sync and disabling the Auto-Sync option.

    >Settings menu

    >tap Wireless & networks.

    >Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Sprint Hotpsot, 4G

    4 Darker wallpapers
It is somewhat of a “thing” to keep bright and flashy wallpapers but from the experience of users and the multiple reviews posted everywhere on the web, it is advisable to use dark wallpapers. Apparently, based upon experience of live users, darker wallpapers are more energy efficient than the brighter ones.

    Method 2c

    >Setting menu

    >tap Personalize.

    >Home wallpaper.

    >Do not tap Live wallpapers. , choose from gallery

    5 Shut extra apps
Most of the times it slips one’s mind to exit the apps that are no longer in current use. Swiping them off the list of apps in use allows for lesser battery drainage as no more power is allocated to keep them running. You could also download an app which acts like a task killer. It will keep your battery life in check and your running apps as well.

Download and Install DU battery Saver to fix battery drain issues

Saving a little hither and thither adds up together to make quite a save in the battery drain.
