Most Nexus devices now have the Android 5.1.1 update available, which is nice. It hasn't made a huge difference to the user experience, but it does fix some bugs for certain people. I'm just glad that I get these updates before most other devices because I have a friend with the G3 that just barely got Lollipop a couple months ago. 0_o

I currently have Version 5.0.3 on my Moto G.
Can't wait for the next upgrade! The lollipop upgrade was really amazing.
Nexus devices are the quickest to get the updates. I remember getting the Lollipop about 3-4 months after it came on my Dad's Nexus. :p

Android 5.1 doesn't make much of a difference compared to Android 5.0, although Nexus users that experienced major glitches from 5.0 can expect fixes for such issues in 5.1 and 5.1.1. Early upgrades are a great aspect of owning a Nexus device, and most Nexus devices can even access the developer preview of Android M already.
