X-Box prepares itself for one of the most important X-Box One updates which is scheduled for release in November. The console is going to see a noticeable revamp in its user interface and the X-Box team has introduced backwards compatibility to the console allowing X-Box One users to play X-Box 360 games as well at no additional charges. This is being considered as the most significant part of the update as it allows X-Box one users to play multi-player games with X-Box 360 users. In addition to it, over a hundred X-Box 360 games (digital and physical copies) will be available for X-Box One users.

Backwards compatibility is the most noteworthy announcements of the update, however a few more important features to look out for are:

The Guide

The X-Box team has worked on feedback received by players who wanted easy access to the guide without any disruptions to the game. The November update will see the new guide to be more user-friendly and will allow users to access it without leaving the game.

Home

The X-Box One Home is being redesigned to make it faster and easier. Users will be able to access game hubs with just one click to get information and updates from the developers and the community.

X-Box Live Community

An optimized X-Box Live community section will show you what is trending by viewing the most popular posts. It also makes it easy for players to check what their friends are doing.

OneGuide

X-Box One will use picture-in-picture mode for TV for you to access TV listings and browse the shows without losing the screen for the show you are watching.

With so many things to consider, the November update is being awaited by the X-Box One users.
