The popularity of League of Legends has very little rivalry worldwide. The fans of this MOBA don’t hesitate to show their devotion towards the game, through a variety of ways. Some settle cosplays, others to do comics, but in China, the fans tend to be a bit more… determined.
In recent years, they have turned the League of Legends into a multi-media phenomenon, managed to achieve an animated series, in the style of Anime, and a feature film in CGI. You can see a trailer for the Anime below.
The quality is not exactly amazing, but considering these were made by fans of the series, not by big studios with huge budgets to spent on League of Legends adaptations, you can accept some of the shortcomings of the technical component.
If you consider that the other aspects of these adaptations are awful, that’s an entirely different story.
However, the success is quite impressive, considering that League of Legends is predominantly known for two things: Rito that takes only crap decisions and a player base so toxic that can be used to dissolve tanks.
