Google Pixel 4 XL is a smartphone that has not yet been announced for release. The company is working on the prototype and nobody has any idea about the specifications. A recent phone leak indicates that it could be the hardware and configuration of the Google Pixel 4 XL phone. The features and technology found in the leaked phone are still being worked upon by the company and so many of them come across as being a little basic.
Starting with the display, it looks like the phone will have an AMOLED display as the colors seem to have a true tone. The phone has a glass panel back case with a matte finish. Fingerprints, dust, and other such residue do not cause smudges on the back case. The case is not glossy nor does it have a frosty finish. It seems to have an ideal balance between matte and glossy finishes.
The camera in Google phones has always been the highlight. This phone camera’s technology is still work in progress and it is believed that the company is working on refining the technology. The phone is expected to feature a 12.2 MP rear camera along with a 16 MP telephoto lens and an 8.1 MP front camera. Some images that were taken using the camera show absolute true color images. They do not seem to have any kind of color saturation system built-in. The images seem to be sharp and seem to have good detail preservation. The image processing application seems to need some tweaks at present but is sure to be completed before its final release.
Memory and Face Unlock
The phone might be available with a RAM capacity of 6 GB and an internal memory of 128 GB. The phone also seems to feature a face recognition system. The face unlock seems to have been built on solid technology as it works in identifying the person even when the phone is placed upside down. There seems to be no fingerprint unlock system either built-in or capacitive.
It is expected that Google will be launching its Project Soli in this new model. Project Soli will provide a new edge to capacitive motion control. The Google Pixel 4 XL is expected to be a flagship phone and is expected to be introduced officially on October 15th.
