Apple Music is the newest Apple sevice which will compete directly with the other older Music Streaming such as Spotify, Rdio, Tidal, etc. Apple Music has been introduced on last month WWDC and brought the new approach from a previous streaming music. It offers a “compete solution” for music lovers with 3 big categories: unlimited music streaming with million of songs, radio dan portal for artist to keep connected with their fans. great!
Apple Music was launched on 30th of June 2015 and has been available in more than 100 countries. If you have an Apple ID, you can get 3 months free-trial to enjoy all services from Apple Music. Its official price in US is US$9.99/month for personal plan and US$ 14.99/month for family plan and their service really competes with other Streaming services like Spotify. The subscription prices are different for different countries. For example, the subscription price in the country where i live (Indonesia), the subscription plan personal is charged for Rp 69,000 (US$ 5.2) and for family plan is Rp 109,000 (equal to US$ 8.1) and this is the best subscription for us.
I don’t know how it’s adjusted for different country. It’s not like the application in App Store which has similar price when it’s converted to a same currency. With different deal for each country, the deal to this service become unique compared to other streaming services. And like me , you probably wish the local artist will be able to sign up to Apple Music so than they can use Apple music service as a media for them to connect with their fans and boost their songs. So, the subscription price for Apple Music can be different for each country. Check your country now, maybe the country you where you live has a lower price than other.
