The Samsung Galaxy F Render is what we’ve been expecting, a Foldable Galaxy Flagship

There has been a while since we heard about Samsung’s bold intention of making a foldable smartphone. This piece of news has kept Samsung Galaxy fans excited and curious for quite some time. There are some renders which came to surface, showing how the new device might look like.

Let’s start the rumors going

At first, the foldable Galaxy smartphone was rumored to be called the Galaxy X. These new renders call it the Galaxy F and they seemingly resulted from deep diving into Samsung’s patents for its folding devices and then the conversion of various schematic designs into rendering gave them their shape.

What will it bring to the table?

First off, we can clearly see from these renders that the Galaxy F will come with a lot of space in its hinge area, a lot more than we previously hoped for. However, at least these renders show that there will be no split in the screen. There were plenty of people who wondered if Samsung will really be able to pull off a seamless design for its foldable phone.

Or maybe, the device will come with a joint with the smallest bezels possible between two usual displays. The fat hinge won’t allow us to carry it easily in our pockets while being folded like we are used to the current smartphones. In fact, this hinge resembles the one present on Microsoft’s Surface Book laptop.

The renders exposed the control buttons and apparently, Samsung will place the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone, although placing it in the front would make for a cleaner, fresher design. The rumored price will be something near $1850 and because of this, we can expect that Samsung will introduce as many feats as possible in the device, to entice buyers.
