The Nokia 6300 4G is Now Being Sold in the United States for $70

The Nokia 6300 4G has been marketed as a rebranded or improved version of the good old Nokia 6300 which featured a stainless backplate. The newly launched model does not bear any resemblance to the 2007 model in terms of design and it boasts of specifications that are far more superior as compared to the model which first came out in the market thirteen years back. While the Nokia 6300 4G received an official announcement in November last year, it recently hit the market in the United States.

These days, a lot of people prefer having an extra or alternative phone along with their smartphone. Different people have different reasons for investing in an extra phone. An individual who is engaged in multiple businesses might need three or four numbers. A smartphone cannot accommodate more than two SIM cards. Therefore, a person with more than two numbers needs to have an extra phone.

Then, there are people who like to keep their smartphones switched off while they are working but do not wish to miss out on important calls from family. A cheaper, low-cost phone would be ideal for them too. One also comes across people who prefer having a backup phone in case the battery of their smartphone dies down or some other untoward incident happens. The Nokia 6300 4G caters to this segment of consumers.

While the phone has the look and feel of the basic devices one used back in the day for calling and texting purposes, it does not come across as an outdated device. It has the kind of features and specifications that one expects to find in a new-age, moderately priced phone. The phone is available in three different colors – Cyan Green, White, and Charcoal. One of the more convenient ways of buying this phone is to visit the official website of Nokia and place an order for it there.

On the company’s website, the Nokia 6300 has been priced at $69.99. The device offers a 2.4-inch display screen that is positioned over an alphanumeric keypad, 512MB RAM and a Snapdragon 210 processor, and expandable storage space. While the phone offers the charm of retro devices, it has the kind of technology that is robust and well-functional.

A VGA camera is placed at the rear end alongside an LED flash that also works quite efficiently as a flashlight. The camera is decent but definitely not the kind that would please ardent photographers. The device runs on the KaiOS operating system and features several pre-installed apps like Facebook, Google Assistant, WhatsApp, and YouTube. The model that is being circulated in the United States offers dual SIM (nano) support, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, and 4G. It also features an audio jack and FM radio.

The 1500mAh battery is easily removable and can be charged with the help of a MicroUSB port that comes as a part of the phone. According to HMD Global, the battery can last for almost a month in the standby position.
