The New Google Pixel 4 may do away with Buttons

Recently there was some leaked news regarding the much-awaited phone from Google – the Google Pixel 4. Google is always known for its innovative technology. The tech giant has always been bringing in some new changes and innovative pieces of tech into their devices. There has been leaked news available regarding Pixel 4, which indicates that the phone will have a massive changeover in terms of the tech used. Both Pixel 4XL and Pixel 4 are expected to be released with some exciting new technology.

The previous model Pixel 3 was released with some capacitive touch areas along the edges of the screen. This allowed the users to squeeze their phone in order to mute the calls and also to perform several other operations. The main drawback was that these actions could be done only in some selected areas along the edges. The capacitive touch areas could not be extended to employ the entire screen edge due to the presence of various buttons. Some sources say that the upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL will do away with buttons completely. This means that even the volume and power controls will be given to the capacitive touch. It is safe to say that the touch areas will be extended to include the entire edge of the screen.

YouTuber Jon Prosser, in his latest video, had shared some leaks and expected technical specifications for the Pixel 4. It is said that the phone will feature a punch hole camera. This seems to be in line with all the latest models being released by various top brands. The bezels will definitely be very thin, thereby increasing the screen space for its users. The previous Pixel devices have a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear case of the phones. The new model is expected to have an inbuilt fingerprint scanner. This could either be an optical scanner or a superior ultrasonic sensor.

Pixel 4 series is expected to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor. Unlike its predecessors, this new model might have a 6GB of RAM capacity and 128 GB of storage. The latest version of Android is set to launch in October, and this new model could be released with the Android Q operating system. The new Pixel 4 range of phones is expected to be launched in mid-October. Pre booking and sales for Pixel 4 and Pixel 4XL will probably begin in the same week as the launch.
